Board Certified Music Therapist & Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and a board certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Double Bass Performance and a Master of Science Degree in Recreation Resource Management, with board certification in music therapy. For the last 20 years, I have performed with a variety of local and national touring bands and in pit orchestras for local theater companies. As a CTRS, I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, residential detention facilities, and community based developmental disability support. My passion for helping others through sharing joy, fun, and music led me to the world of Music Therapy and I am excited to share what I have learned. By providing high quality music related services, my vision is to help others use music to motivate, work, and progress toward their goals.
